Lunch Run - Wednesday - 4/1/2009 - 4.01 miles

Miserable conditions. Glad I suited up, but freaking miserable. Wet, soggy, cold, rainy, slushy, incredibly windy. Physically, it wasn’t that bad but mentally it was…yeah, I already said miserable.

Lunch Run - Tuesday - 3/31/2009 - 4.15 miles

Took a different route today - instead of heading down the waterfront trail, I hung a right at Qwest field and headed up to the International District.  The change in elevation was nice - the run up Jackson to 10th was gradual but good enough to get the heart rate up.  The only problem with the run was the fact that I ran by so many good Vietnamese and Chinese restaraunts.  The hunger pangs were more painful than motivational.  Again, though, great change of pace through a great neighborhood.

Another note:  it was a lot warmer than I anticipated.  The Brooks nightlife jacket traps heat REALLY well….
